Not directly bird related – yet – but an interesting article with a couple of named Australians somewhat on the nose. With the realignment of so many birds into new genera one wonders if the same is happening in our neck of the clades…

Binoculars

Does anyone have experience with the various Zeiss bins? My wife has Tetra, and I can’t imagine anything better. However, the online reviews rave about the Victory SF. At 3+ times the cost of the Tetra they would have to be stunning and a real leap in satisfaction.
