… this?– A slow thwocking sound coming from the same patch where a non-birder saw a “frogmouth” on the ground. I’m just south of the sightings-range of Large-tailed Nightjar, & also at altitude. The sound is far slower than online recordings of that species’ “woodchop” call. Any ideas? Judith SEQ 500m — Judith
