I just got my grubby hands on the Phil Gregory guide and was blown away by it. I would recommend it hands down.

Bassian Thrushes

We have spent the past few days at Mallacoota where there has been an astonishing number of Bassian Thrushes, We have seen them in at least 6 sites, mainly single birds but one lawn was graced with 3 at once. Other birders, both local and visitors, have commented on the extraordinary numbers.
