Pitta name change

Without sounding bitta about it, why are we Antipodeans last to know about, and did we have any input into, the name change fro Red-bellied to Papuan Pitta?

thoughts on bird e-Guide Apps for iPad/iPhone

Hi Jeelan,

I have both the Pizzey and Knight and Morcombe bird apps, albeit for Android – although I wouldn’t imagine much difference between platforms. I bought the Morcombe app roughly 3 years ago and have loved every feature except the bird drawings and locality maps.
