Western NSW Birding in October

Hi Birders, Just back from a three week circuit (Capertee, The Pilliga, Lake Cargelligo/Round Hill, Willandra, Cocopara and Weddin Mountain). Queensland ‘Twitchathon’

The ‘Pommie Pardalotes’ had a great bird-race yesterday, we managed to get 185 species starting at Mt Glorious, then on to Gatton and up to Bribie Island. We also managed to see Regent Honeyeater and Australasian Bittern, but no Australian Brush-Turkey (…..how is that possible?)
