To Mike Tarburton, about 20 Needletails over the Caloundra Sandbanks this morning at 09.40am. S 26.810314 E 153.129950 They sure work well as an alarm. I looked up from counting shorebirds, having just finished. Needletails were quartering the intertidal sandbanks just about ground level, then sweeping higher for another run.
