A study of sites near Canberra (?) and NSW showed that noisy miner numbers
were negatively correlated with fine leaved wattles (Acacia decurrens, A.
parramattensis, A baileyana etc.)
These wattles are extremely quick growing but can be very weedy so
important (possibly more than any other native except a grass) to get local
provenance if possible
