By Birding-Aus, on November 22nd, 2018% I was contacted by someone today with an unusual bird in his yard, somewhere around Bacchus Marsh. Long story short, he sent me 3 very beautiful clear photos which identified it as a Chukar partridge. By Bill Stent, on November 20th, 2018% Hi all, Bill here
Following my post about Koels, I’ve had a question about whether they parasitise Magpies. I thought they concentrated on larger honeyeaters.
Does anyone know? I don’t have HANZAB to hand, unfortunately.

By Bill Stent, on November 16th, 2018% Hi all, Bill here
I have to write a Facebook message on behalf of my employer, Optics Central, about the return of the Koel to Melbourne. Does anyone have a photo that I can use?
I can’t pay anything for it, but I’ll certainly give credit.
Many thanks.
