I’ve gone for the Collins app (it turns out my old UK Field Guide is also Collins).

I’m about to move to England for two years so they should both get a work out,

Birding apps for the UK and Europe

Re birding apps for the UK and Europe.

I visited the UK in June 2017 for a bit of birdwatching. I used Birds of Britain and Ireland. It was very useful, especially the calls. I also used birdquicklist for keeping a list of what I saw.
