A small group of approx 20 WTNTs were circling above the property at Kobble Creek in SE Qld this morning at 9am (Qld time) — Marie Tarrant Kobble Creek, Qld
At the beginning of the week I reported Baillon’s Crake and Spotless Crake at the newly created Parklakes wetlands on the Sunshine Coast. Since then, birds recorded here include Australian Little Bittern, Pale-vented Bush-hen and Lewin’s Rail. I saw the bittern showing nicely this morning.
