Despite the lack of breeding records for King Parrots in Canberra, I’m sure there are plenty of records of KPs with dy. One this morning in our yard in Hughes.

This morning on our nature strip there were 8 Magpies feeding, four adults and four young. It looked like two families associating together without hostility. Perhaps the good season we are having in soggy Canberra has lessened their territoriality?

Hi all, Approximately 2000 Banded Stilts were observed in the north-western bay of Logan Lagoon, Flinders Island (55G 0610615 E 5553839 S) on 24th_25th February 2012.
