Tonight on dusk I heard the familiar sound of a flock of White-browed Woodswallows and noticed approximately 50-100 birds initially soaring then flying directly to their probable roost site near Lake Samsonvale, high above them I managed to pick out around ten White-throated Needletails (but there could have been more) The swifts are our first … Read more
G’day everyone The first White-throated Needletails to be reported were observed at Anstead Bush, Qld, by Rod Gardner two days ago & yesterday the first Fork-tailed Swifts were seen in the Top End by David Webb.
