The Hooded Plover found on the Noosa River (Noosa, Sunshine Coast, Queensland) on 15th June 2010 is still there and is now changing into its adult plumage. Currently the hood is dark with grey patches making the bird look more like a “Hoary-headed Plover” but it shouldn’t be too long before it is fully black. … Read more
