I agree with David’s comment about distance. If you’re zooming in on an image to see a bird that’s tiny because it was a fair way off, then you’re enlarging the grain too. I’ve seen that format on some Birdlines. But I’m not aware of Birdlines being collated from, for example, birding-aus postings. In that case, fully acknowledging the source is more complicated. Perhaps a link to the original posting in the archives should be added. Peter Shute
