Went down to Wilsons Promontary (Vic) the other day with the vague intention to hear (if not see) Ground Parrots. That didn’t happen but we did see some Hooded Plovers at the northern end of Whisky Bay (we kept our distance and watched were we put our feet) and Emus at Five Mile Road north of the airstrip.
But my question is: has anyone seen or heard Ground Parrots near the airstrip lately?
