I would like to know if this is a suitable forum for getting views about new English names for Australian bird species, for inclusion in AviList. Any thoughts on this?

Hi Geoffrey, Sorry there hasn’t been a reply, but I discovered that the whole website had crashed so I’ve been rebuilding it. To answer your question, YES! This definitely fits the scope of this forum. Happy for anyone to discuss anything to do with wild birds, including taxonomy, classification, naming … let the fun begin!
