Birds and Kanooka/Water Gum trees

Can anyone please let me know how attractive, or not, Kanooka/Water Gum/Tristaniopsis laurina is to birds? It’s become a very fashionable street/landscaping tree here in south-eastern Melbourne and I fear it may just add to the suite of exotic trees that provide lots of nectar for the bully birds.
