Now that’s what I call intrepid ! Is that White’s Thrush the same as our Bassian ?

Not conditions to be caught short in. The White’s Thrush mentioned is Zoothera dauma, which ranges through South and East Asia. and just to confuse things a bit further, it is often called Scaly Thrush.
