Sea-eagle LIVE clarification re ads

Written by

For some reason I didn’t receive Simon’s email below, and related ones, for over 12 hours. I thought it had gone quiet.

I’m not in a position to be able to look at this site for a while. Can anyone please clarify whether you only see this ad once ever, or is it once a day, etc?

If it’s a necessary evil, and a quick Googling of “ustream ads” suggests it is, perhaps a warning about what to expect might be in order?

Hey guys, just because you can’t mute the ad doesn’t mean you can’t mute your PC sound or turn your speakers off briefly. Cmon guys, use your brains! As Simon previously said, we have no control over the ads.

I decided to check what all the fuss was about, as I initially thought people were just been picky, but yes the advertisements are really intrusive and continuous and put me off from visiting the site again. I think most people understand the need for advertisements but you should be allowed to mute them. You should consider using another streaming service and I think most people won’t be going back to the site in its current form.
