Gday All
I am hoping to plot where outback nomadic birds are moving due to recent
rains. Often the best outback winter birding can be found after a
prolonged drought is broken by substantial autumn rains. Wondering if
anyone has noticed local irruptions occurring in areas from around
Camooweal, Mt Isa, Cloncurry, Longreach, Windorah, Boulia areas etc.
I would particularly appreciate information about recent spectacular
increases of indicator species such as Cockateil, Budgerigar, Pied and
Black Honeyeaters, Crimson Chats, White-browed and Masked Woodswallows.
Any information about recent events would be most useful and gratefully
received.
Regards
Ian May, St Helens Tas.
