Happy New Year!
I am looking at starting my birding for 2017 from Dubbo towards Tamworth. Can anyone recommend some suitable spots to explore via 2WD in Goonoo Goonoo , particularly if there’s a chance of seeing Malleefowl? I’m looking at staying at the free camp at either Mendooran or Binnaway to allow time to explore along the bird routes that I’ve spotted signs for along Werris Creek Road and then stay at the free camp at Wallabadah. If anyone is familiar with any of those camps, any feedback on them would also be appreciated.
