Gang gangs & Shrike tits

Hi all..?
Just thought I’d write a quick post

Yesterday I was in Bright (vic)
Dropped some friends off with their Mountain bikes at ‘Hugget lookout’ area, just as you start to drive onto a dirt road section. Heard the distinctive sound of Gang Gang Cockatoos making their creaking sounds…went looking with bino’s and discovered 15 Gang Gang Cockatoos and a fair few young ones too, hanging upside down and being playful. One young one flew down to a branch not far from me down low. Very inquisitive. Such a treat ?
Not sure if they’re always there but…just thought I’d share for those In the area.

Also, am camping on the Murray River near Bundalong/Yarrawonga vic area and…heard a familiar call in the blossoming gums along the river, grabbed bino’s, and found a small group of 5 or more Crested shrike tits and a couple young ones amongst them too…all foraging and chasing each other…another real treat.
Such a fav bird of mine, so spunky ?
Happy New Year everyone and Happy Birding for 2017
Kirri ?
