Hello everyone Fairfield City Council, NSW, has been fortunate enough to lure John Young to present a talk on Australian Owls and rediscovering the night parrot, an elusive bird which was previously thought to be extinct. Or at least dead specimens found on Barb wire fences… From memory, no records for 50 years is required before a species is considered extinct.
