The planned development of Toondah Harbour in a Ramsar-protected wetland in Queensland's Moreton Bay makes a mockery of international treaties to which Australia is a party. Summer breeding Banded Lapwings

I came across of a family of Banded Lapwings in a paddock near Avalon Airport and the WTP consisting of two adults and two half grown young indicating a late January laying date.
