Hi all just getting some calls onto my iPod to familiarise my self with target birds before my Darwin trip soon – am I correct in that there is no Banded Fruit Dove call on the BOCA CDs, or is my set slightly behind the times? Thanks Tom Wilson

Well, that’s interesting. The recently released Blackberry version has no calls for that species.

There is no Banded Fruit-Dove calls on my version of BOCA CDs, but my Morcombe App (Android version 1.2.0) does have 2 separate calls for it.

There are 2 recordings of the Banded Fruit-dove on the Xeno Canto Australasial. Easy to download in to iTunes. Let me know if you need assistance with this.

Tom, The Morcombe App doesn’t have a call for them either, so maybe calls are hard to come by.
