Birdpedia – Australia – Weekly Digest

The following is a digest of Sightings Reported on Birdpedia for the period Monday, March 16, 2020 to Sunday, March 22, 2020:

Area: SA

Location: In our jungle-like St Peters garden

Noisy Miner (Manorina melanocephala) (1) The inevitable has happened at last. Our first noisy miner ever seen, perched in our huge gum tree. They have been in the school grounds 150 metres towards the city for 18 months or so, in the Joslin reserve 200 metres away in the other direction for about the length of same time. On the positive side we have no grassy areas, just trees and bushes, so maybe it will please go away !

Reported by: Barbara and Peter Bansemer on Monday, March 16, 2020
