Quite a few birders searched unsuccessfully this morning for the Regent Honeyeater which turned up a couple of days ago at Stanmore, South-East Queensland. A few other good birds were in the area, however, including five Black-tailed Native-hens at Kilcoy, a Black-necked Stork and good numbers of Rufous Songlark and White-winged Triller. Last night I saw three Marbled Frogmouths, two Tawny Frogmouths, two White-throated Nightjars and an Australian Owlet-Nightjar in the Sunshine Coast hinterland. I have detailed these and recent Sunshine Coast records of Masked Booby and Masked Owl here: http://tinyurl.com/majs7b3 Greg Roberts =============================== To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: birding-aus-request@vicnet.net.au http://birding-aus.org ===============================
