small isolated swarm beside Sydney’s inner west Canterbury Rd this morning. The locals love it when they swarm. Their aerobatics when feasting on flying ants is a joy to watch. My memory is that they used to swarm in February. Hello Carol, Not much doubt about the “mystery” bird being a Golden Whistler. You can see the yellow undertail coverts.
