Hi I am thinking of heading down tomorrow morning to see if I can find the White-rumped Sandpiper. Has anyone seen it today and if so is it still in the same spot. Martin is correct – the lack of pale lores and the even length rectrices make it a Leaden Flycatcher – Broad -bills have graduated tail feathers and pale lores. Hi Mike On 11th January 2015 from around 7.00 am for about an hour and a half, there were 32 White-throated Needletails circling over Heritage Drive, Moonee Beach, NSW.
