Nice birds in recent days in the Gympie-Maryborough region of south-east Queensland include a flock of 15 Freckled Duck, 18 Cotton Pygmy-Goose and 2 Musk Duck on Lake Lenthall, and a flock of 20 Budgerigars at Gundalda. Back in spring 1999 there were 3 pelagics from Wollongong and Sydney, each of which recorded a possible Amsterdam Albatross.
