Broome is the best place I have had. In the wet season you can get Crested, Lesser Crested, Caspian, Gull-billed (both macrotarsa and the migratory affinis), Little, Whiskered, White-winged, Common and Roseate. A male Red-rumped Parrot spent most of the morning in a tree in our backyard in Leichhardt (Sydney), NSW. This is an unusual sighting in this area. (We haven’t seen or heard ‘our’ Eastern Rosellas – see previous posts – for a couple of months) Cheers, Nikolas
