We are planning a trip to south west Western Australia in October and are would like to see Mallee Fowl. We understand there were some active mounds near Jerramungup but we don’t want to go that far east unless there is a good chance of seeing one. Can anyone give us an update? Regards David … Read more
A report from Pam Jones of 2 Barn Swallows on Cocos on 21 July has raised the question of whether these are early spring arrivals (as I think) or over-wintering birds.
