“Wildlife of Cooper’s Paddock” available for download

Dear Birding Australia,

I am the person who is fighting to save a piece of regionally important habitat in Warwick Farm, Sydney. Thanks for responding so kindly to me when I was trying to contact Graeme in August. I have now finished the book and it can be downloaded from the Save Cooper’s Paddock website: http://savecooperspaddock.com/2011/10/04/new-book-wildlife-of-coopers-paddock/

If you feel moved to support the efforts to save this extraordinary stronghold of biodiversity, addresses can be found on the “What you can do” page. If you don’t have time to write, there is a very handy e-letterwhich in a matter of moments will send a letter to nearly 30 relevant decision makers at all levels of government. If you choose to send the e-letter, please add a comment to it, as this adds value. Birding-specific comments would be great.

I am trying to educate a very reluctant council that this place has value, that birds have value, and that nature has value. Uphill battle, but I refuse to give in. Your support would be most welcome.

Kind regards, Cherie Saxby ===============================
