Really appreciate all of your suggestions as to who owns the nest. I see that it could really belong to any of those but not knowing the size of the nest does not to help (thank you Phillip for your advice). Looking at photos of a Yellow-plumed Honeyeater’s nest, it appears quite similar but as was suggested, maybe unfinished. Many thanks.
