Hello David and Bill I recall visiting a property a few years ago on the western side of Leslie Dam, approximately ten kilometres west of Warwick, and coming across a party of White-winged Fairy-Wren. It may just be a similar distance from Brisbane as those you mention. Surprisingly close! Regards,Michael Wood

This is the spot closest to Brisbane Ive personally seen WW Fairy-wrens and Blue-bonnets, though I think WW Fairy-wrens have been recorded on the roads west of Stanthorpe. Nice to hear of them near Oakey. Be interested to hear of any other sites others may have seen WW fairy-wrens and Blue-bonnets closest to Brisbane”. ============================== To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: birding-aus-request@vicnet.net.au
