White-throated Needletails

Yeah, g’day Mike
WTNTs were at Mount Clunie Cabins, 3 March, observed from about 9.15am til about 10.00am. The property is about 15km from Woodenbong, adjoining Mount Clunie National Park.
Weather was overcast. The flock was mostly dispersed over a big area, with some able to be seen in the distance with binoculars; but at times there was an aggregation of upwards of 100-150 above us. No Fork-tailed Swifts as far as we could tell; none heard by Bev.

The conservation battle is never finally won; the development battle is.
