Typically, I got the dates incorrect (in my previous message) for the 2010 Victorian Twitchathon. It will be held on the week of 6-7 November 2010. (Thank of all those people pointed it out!)
Also the link to the Australian Birdfair was wrong – see http://australianbirdfair.org.au. It is worth noting that it will now be held on the 3rd weekend of September annually, with this years dates being 17-19 September 2010. They also now have a Facebook page, see http://www.facebook.com/australianbirdfair.
The Leeton Australian Birdfair is tremendous event, I can highly recommend it. Last time I was there we had Superb Parrot flying through the trees in the Birdfair itself. I also got locked into the Agricultural school across the road, and ended up being ‘rescued’ by a lady in a bikini – but that’s another story.
