Thanks for all the comments regarding the ID of the flycatcher that I photographed near Darwin Hospital, the general consensus seems to be moving towards Satin Flycatcher but there have been a few votes for aberrant Leaden and possible ‘myiagra’-species from Indonesia or New Guinea/Melanesia.
I’ve compiled most of the images into an album http://www.aviceda.org/wp/?page_id=375 with some other myiagras for comparison.
Any further thoughts welcome,
