Unidentified bird

The “bird and mantis” photograph at the link below has been doing the rounds of photos websites and facebook pages for the last month or so.

  1. One of the Hawaiian Honeycreepers? Difficult to rule out digital manipulation, but I imagine with a phototrap & a bit of perseverance that this would be possible ‘in camera’
