Tyto Wetlands, Ingham, QLD

Hi all, If there are any Tyto Wetland experts out there I’d be really grateful for a bit of info on some target species that are present/possible. I will be visiting the wetlands next weekend with some overseas journalists as part of a trip to FNQ to follow the routes & app launched by Bird Trails – Tropical Queensland. The target species in question are: White-gaped HoneyeaterCrimson FinchWhite-browed CrakeWhite-browed RobinKing QuailRed-backed ButtonquailPale-vented Bush-hen Also any info on spotlighting in the area – especially for Grass Owls, Masked Owls and Large-tailed Nightjars. Looking at previous reports from the area I suspect some of the above are very common and some very tough. Thanks very much in advance, Cheers, Ed

Interesting – birding-aus doesn’t seem to format Google Chrome emails properly. Email below tidied up (on Explorer) – it looked normal when I first sent it!
