turquoise parrots

A question: is it likely that turquoise parrots would congregate in large groups of 30+?

My brother say a large group of small parrots on dusk at Mt Pilot near Beechworth. Bad light and no binoculars, but he thought they were not red-rumps.

We saw 9+ blue-wings this morning near Breamlea along the road to Torquay.

Hi Steve, I saw 21 in a flock this morning in the Warby Ranges, they will flock in autumn and winter and 30 would definately be possible.

    G’day Stephen and Peter.

I had a flock of 20 in the eastern block of Chiltern NP in August 1985.

    Hi Stephen,

Looked up an old listing I have from a camp-out in Spring Forest, Cowra, NSW, on 9th June, 2002. Noted here 20 + Turquoise Parrots.

    Regards, Peter Madvig
