TC Anggrek [cat 2] is currently loitering around the Cocos Islands. I wonder if there will be a higher rate of vagrants turning up there during November than normal …

Hi all,
This site makes interesting reading: http://www.bom.gov.au/cyclone/history/wa/cocos.shtml
I do hope the storm is not as bad as this one. Knowing the location of the motel rooms and main buildings they and or all their contents might end up in the lagoon. The influx of birds and insects might be spectacular BUT there might also be nowhere to stay!
As I am booked to be there in early December I am hoping that the birds come and that the buildings don’t go.
cheers
Jen
