Hi birders
Why does it not surprise me that journalists cannot get it right?

Don’t forget Simon, you are an editor yourself of your own website!
Again, perhaps that’s just editors for you!
Cheers David Parker
Just a a quick note
The journalist who wrote this article (http://www.smh.com.au/environment/animals/give-a-hoot-and-find-a-treedwelling-neighbour-20110703-1gxcv.html) has had the image replaced. You could tell that the article was very well researched and written, so I figured something had gone wrong. And so it had …
“I wrote the story for the paper and made sure only powerful owl images were supplied – but there’s clearly been a breakdown in communication when the story went online.”
That’s editors for you! Nice to see it resolved. Good work SMH and Aaron Cook ; )
Regards,
Simon.

This morning there was a superb-looking Spotted Owl there instead. They changed it to the Powerful after I contacted them.
