‘The etymology of “jizz”, revisited’

Hopefully my last little bit on this (and just my opinion) with a couple examples. A Yellow Robin sitting fairly still on a branch, like a normal bird, can be identified by shape, size and colour but you wouldn’t necessarily call that jizz, although it does include GISSM. The same Yellow Robin perched on the side of a tree trunk looking down at the ground does demonstrate jizz. As in the characteristic and somewhat different feature that (broadly speaking) sets it apart from other species that might live in the same area. A Magpie can easily be identified by GISSM and simple black & white colour but these are not jizz, in my word use, the feature of jizz it has is the way they will very obviously glide upwards before perching (that being mainly a feature of movement). To me, jizz relates to essence.

As for any military connections, I’ll leave to others to ponder but it does not seem very practical to me.
