Tagged Pied Oystercatcher

Hi

Recently at Caloundra, Sunshine Coast, a PO was seen and photographed. It had a metal ring on its left leg and a green plastic tag on its right upper leg. Is this information of any use to a researcher somewhere?

  Birds flagged in Moreton Bay carry green tags. You can report flagged shorebirds in SEQ to Phil & Linda Cross at xenus@big.net.au.
