Update to first report – approx 45 mins later, same location, as the next rain band started. Approx. 30 more birds – very high. Hard to tell with rain falling on the bins, but at least 6 FTS and at least 4 Needletails identified.

Hi Mike and others,
Group of approx 8 Fork-tailed Swifts, followed about 10 mins later by two individual White-throated Needletails.
Between rain fronts in our very humid, rainy, stormy central Vic day. Approx 5:45 p.m., all heading South-east, i.e. with the fronts coming from the North-west.
Axedale, between Bendigo and Heathcote, Central Victoria. First sighting of F-tS at our property in 6 years – have seen Needletails once before.
