Swarovski birding-game

Not sure if anyone is aware of it already but I just found an excellent Android app called Swarovski birding-game, I know there are a few others out there but this seems to be the best that I’ve come across so far, (…and it appears to be free!) Although it does look to have a strong European bias I think they are planning a downloadable North American quiz (It mentions ‘Coming-Soon’). Unfortunately I’m not aware if there is an Iphone version but I guess that there ought to be. Great fun to use when commuting on the train to work….. http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=air.at.BirdingGame.Extended (Please note that I have no commercial-interest in this product) Tom — ******************************** Tom Tarrant Kobble Creek, Qld http://www.aviceda.org ******************************** =============================== To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: birding-aus-request@vicnet.net.au http://birding-aus.org ===============================

There is an article in the Sydney Morning Herald today about the explosion in malicious apps targeting Android smartphones this year. Particularly targeting banking and I guess we birders are not seen as a big market to target! Latest figures show Android has 79.3% of the market and iPhone 13.2%, so perhaps us Android users will start to see more apps than the iPhone users soon! Very frustrating when so many apps won’t run on the system with the biggest market share!
