Success – Hooded Plovers at Moggs Creek

Just heard on Jon Faine’s program on ABC-local: After weeks and weeks in which they were guarded by volunteers, a family of young Hooded Plovers have just fledged on Moggs Creek surf-beach, despite the fact that one adult had been taken by a fox. Congratulations to the splendid volunteers who could at least protect the birds from dogs and careless walkers during the day.
