Stephanie Thompson Nganjmirra meets Carlton players (off topic).

Some months ago, I asked if any birding aussers had contact with Carlton players. Meeting these men and seeing them play was the dying wish of my daughter-in-law. Ed Williams, a fellow birding ausser came to the rescue, putting me onto Jake Crawford, Carlton’s Fan Development, Diversity & Community Trainee Officer. The Machado-Joseph Foundation arranged funding and Stephanie with daughter Vickarena, was on her way. The photos, now on Facebook, have gone viral throughout the Aboriginal communities of the Top End. Thank you Ed and also Birding Aus. Wouldn’t have happened without you!
