Dear B-A,
Further to my post about the snake bite app launched by Reptile Rescue, I have just discovered from the Launceston Examiner web site that this app is only for devices using the Android OS (I presume for all flavours of Android). An iOS version will be produced real soon perhaps, in the fullness of time. Pity the ABC did not point that out in their piece on the app.
Cheers,

It also only covers snake bites in Tasmania, where nobody has died from a snake bite since 1966, and there only a couple of bites per year (about 80% of which are due to people deliberately handling the snake). It is a well produced app though, and nice to see these kinds of apps being produced for the most popular smart phone operating system as the first choice (since that means it will be available to the most amount of people).
